Pass On
Everything that comes to us, comes to pass or, more accurately, for us to pass on. Not just the money in our pocket, but wisdom, objects, ideas, even opportunities, all come to us, so that, at the right moment, we can pass them on. This is called flow. Being in the flow means being aware that the river of life is flowing to us at every moment. Being in the flow means accepting whatever comes and putting it to good use, before passing it on. Going with the flow means allowing whatever comes to move on freely, without holding on in any way. If we do not pass on, we are trying to block the flow, and that's when we feel pressure in our life. Pressure is always self-inflicted. Every time you feel 'under pressure' look at what you need to release and to pass on to someone else. Once you do you can ...relax...again. Peace~Nanette

THE PINNACLE
By Lisa Diane
"Tips, Strategies & Insights for Extraordinary Living" *******************************************************
"What Are You Looking At?"
Ryan and I went to see the eye doctor yesterday. It was one of those things we've both been putting off for far too long. Those long hours staring at a computer screen were definitely catching up with me.
Anyway, Ryan went first. Then it was my turn. I sat down and the first thing the doctor said was, "I can't believe Ryan has been going around without glasses... he hasn't seen clearly for months now."
At first I didn't think much of it. Ryan lost his glasses awhile back (a loooong while back) and I knew he needed a new pair but it wasn't something he ever made a big deal about.
So when the doctor rambled on about his vision I was a little surprised. But then the real shocker...
The doctor said, "Let me show you how Ryan's been seeing" and he pulled out these two little circle glasses and put them over my eyes.
Whoa!
First I thought he was joking.
I couldn't see anything. It was like watching one of those "scrambled" cable channels on TV.
I was in shock. How could this be? How could anyone possibly exist with vision like this? I mean, I couldn't walk across the room. (Wanna guess who drove home?)
That's when it got interesting... very interesting.
The doctor explained that Ryan's BRAIN had actually been working over-time putting together pictures and filling in the gaps from what his eyes were unable to see.
In other words, his brain was doing most of the seeing for him.
Imagine that.
I was stunned. I knew our brains were powerful instruments but to think that Ryan's brain actually took the fuzzy pictures and made it so he could operate was an amazing feat.
So that got me thinking... You see, our world--or how we view our world--is determined more by what's going on INSIDE of us than what's actually going on OUTSIDE.
In other words, you and I could both look at the same scene and report back two different (sometimes VERY different) accounts of what we saw.
Why?
Because what we see isn't just what we see... it's what we perceive.
Have you heard the phrase, "Perception is reality?"
In the case of Ryan's eyes--his brain really helped him out. It allowed him to continue to see when his eyes couldn't deliver.
But we aren't always so lucky.
Sometimes (more often than you'd like to think) our perception of what's real is what keeps us from having what we really want.
I always heard...
"You have to SEE it to BELIEVE it."
But the truth is...
"You have to BELIEVE it to SEE it!"
That's why some people continue to miss out on success, health, wealth, happiness, that great career, that incredible relationship... or whatever it is they crave.
They can only "see" life... opportunities, experiences, people and events... through their "inner eye". So regardless of how "perfect" something may appear to one person-- another can see only obstacles, short-comings, lack and disappointment.
One of my favor quotes by Wayne Dyer is,
"When you change the way you look at things the things you look at will change."
There's age-old wisdom in those words. It's a life-changer when you really "get it."
So here's the challenge...
Look at those areas in your life you've been struggling with... trying like heck to change but seeing little to no results.
Instead of looking for circumstances to change on the OUTSIDE, spend some time looking INWARD.
No outside force can keep you from your highest good. No boss, government, family member, friend, church, school, ANYONE or ANYTHING has any power over you.
The source of your problems... the reasons why you can't seem to make that breakthrough... it's not "out there" somewhere.
Remember, "You'll only SEE IT when you BELIEVE IT."
So change the way you look at things (by eliminating the negative, lack-minded, low energy beliefs)... create NEW, empowering beliefs that support what you WANT instead of perpetuate what you don't want... and your life WILL change.
-- I guarantee it!

A Lonely Dog
I wish someone would tell me what it is That I've done wrong.
Why do I have to stay chained up and be Left alone so long?
They seemed so glad to have me when I came here as a pup.
There were so many things we'd do While I was growing up.
The Master said he'd train me as a Companion and a friend.
The Mistress said she'd never fear To be left alone again.
The children said they'd feed me and Brush me every day.
They'd play with me and walk me If I would only stay.
But now the Master "hasn't time"
The Mistress says I shed- She doesn't want me in the house Not even to be fed.
The Children never walk me.
They always say, "Not now" I wish that I could please them.
Won't someone tell me how? All I had, you see, was love.
I wish they would explain Why they said they wanted mine, And then left it on a chain.

Paid In Full
A little boy came up to his mother in the kitchen one evening while she was fixing supper, and he handed her a piece of paper that he had been writing on. After his mom dried her hands on an apron, she read it, and this is what it said:
For cutting the grass: $5.00 For cleaning up my room this week: $1.00 For going to the store for you: .50 Baby-sitting my kid brother while you went shopping: .25 Taking out the garbage: $1.00 For getting a good report card: $5.00 For cleaning up and raking the yard: $2.00
--------- Total owed: $14.75
Well, his mother looked at him standing there, and the boy could see the memories flashing through her mind. She picked up the pen, turned over the paper he'd written on, and this is what she wrote:
For the nine months I carried you while you were growing inside me: No Charge.
For all the nights that I've sat up with you, doctored and prayed for you: No Charge.
For all the trying times, and all the tears that you've caused through the years: No Charge.
For all the nights that were filled with dread, and for the worries I knew were ahead: No Charge.
For the toys, food, clothes, and even wiping your nose: No Charge, Son.
When you add it up, the cost of my love is: No Charge.
When the boy finished reading what his mother had written, there were big tears in his eyes, and he looked straight up at his mother and said, "Mom, I sure do love you." And then he took the pen and in great big letters he wrote: "PAID IN FULL".

I recently came across this bit of excellent advice from Robert Kiyosaki, the author of the famous "Rich Dad, Poor Dad" series of books. Robert says:
"Most people choose not to be rich. For 90% of the population, being rich is 'too much of a hassle.' So they invent sayings that go, 'I'm not interested in money.' Or 'I don't have to worry, I'm still young.' Or 'When I make money, then I'll think about my future.' Or 'My husband/wife handles the finances.'
"The problem with those statements is they rob the person who chooses to think such thoughts of two things: one is time, which is your most precious asset, and two is learning. Just because you have no money, it should not be an excuse not to learn. But that is the choice we make daily, the choice of what we do with our time, our money and what we put in our heads. That is the power of choice. All of us have choice. I just choose to be rich, and I make that choice every day.
"INVEST FIRST IN EDUCATION. In reality, the only asset you have is your mind, the most powerful tool we have dominion over."
